Depart from Windhoek in the early morning and take in the changing landscapes as you head south via C26 or C14 toward Sesriem, the gateway to Sossusvlei.
Check into your chosen luxury lodge or desert camp and unwind with a cold drink as the desert glows orange and gold during sunset. Gather around the campfire for a cozy desert evening.

Optional Early Morning: Begin the day with a once-in-a-lifetime hot air balloon ride over the Namib Desert. Watch the sun rise over the dunes, followed by a champagne breakfast.
Continue with a guided drive into the famous Sossusvlei area. Climb Big Daddy or Dune 45 for breathtaking panoramic views, then explore the ancient, surreal clay pan of Deadvlei, framed by 900-year-old camelthorn trees.
Enjoy lunch at a desert lodge before heading to Sesriem Canyon, a natural gorge carved by the Tsauchab River.
The day ends with stargazing, as the Namib Desert boasts some of the clearest night skies in the world.
