Join the Naankuse Lifeline Clinic in Namibia’s rural east and contribute to the healthcare needs of the San communities, while immersing yourself in one of the world’s oldest cultures.
Arrive at the Naankuse Lifeline Clinic in the remote village of Epukiro. Get settled into your accommodation and meet the staff and fellow volunteers. Orientation will provide insight into the San community and an overview of your role during the project.
Accommodation: On-site volunteer housing
Meals: Typically self-catered or community-supported
Activities: Orientation, community introduction
Start your days supporting the medical team at the clinic. Assist the doctor and nurse with day-to-day healthcare tasks, manage medication in the pharmacy, help distribute donations, and engage in school and feeding programs. Volunteers also join outreach visits to remote communities.

No prior medical experience is necessary
A willingness to engage, help, and learn is essential
Duration of stay can vary; longer stays are encouraged for deeper involvement
